Thirty Americans came to France at the beginning of March, during the holidays.  

They had a french pen friend.

They came to our English lesson, we discussed the french and american stereotypes. 

They think that  the French are not clean and quite lean while the French said that the Americans  are fat and they eat chewing gum in class.
